We're pleased to say that our tea bags do not contain plastic. In July 2021 we transitioned to 100% natural plant-based PLA tea bag paper and tea bag componentry. The fully sustainable renewable fibres are made from a selected blend of high-quality Manila hemp, cellulose and biopolymer made from natural plant material.
We want our customers to be informed about their choices. Should you wish to avoid the inclusion of synthetic fibres - we encourage you to consider our broad range of teas and herbal tisanes - available in loose-leaf and leaf infuser pyramid bags.
